The company is directed toward pursuits in digital media; specializing
in the areas of architectural documentation, graphic design and
web site design/management.
1998 - Present: Co-Founder, Historic Houston
Currently on the Board of Directors as well as acting webmaster.
Historic Houston is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated
to preserving and promoting Houston’s historic architectural
and cultural resources through scholarly research, education,
and advocacy of sustainable design and conservation.
2004
- LEED AP
Passed the LEED Accreditation Exam. The accreditation
program recognizes expertise in green building and LEED to help
meet the growing demand from the public and private sectors for
green buildings.
1999
- 2003: Co-Founder, Haver Street Studios, Inc.
Co-founded a multimedia company specializing in photo-realistic
still images and special effects for web based simulations. Our
training applications have been successfully utilized by members
of the petrochemical industry.
1996
- 1999: Owner, Syd Moen
The company was formed to provide historic preservation services
to architects, developers, and building owners. Services included
design development, adaptive-use proposals, historic research,
historic sites and structures surveys, condition reports, and
historic building documentation. Past client list includes corporations,
foundations, practicing architects, neighborhood organizations
and private individuals.
1996
-1999: Visiting lecturer
Visiting lecturer in historic preservation at the University of
Houston's College of Architecture.
1985-1987: Owner, Syd & Co.
Company designed and promoted "Texas" theme wrist watches.
The Alamo in San Antonio, TX and the Heritage Society in Houston,
TX are a few of the prestigious gift shops that carried my watches.
